We are currently seeking an ESTIMATOR/PROJECT
MANAGER.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
& RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
Oversee and development of large and small, major and minor projects.
2. Estimating and establishing
budgets and contract price.
3.
Reviewing contract conditions and ensuring compliance.
4. Negotiating effective
subcontractor and material purchases.
5.
Manage projects from award through final completion.
6.
Manage subcontractors to coordinate cost, schedule and performance.
7. Reading and interpreting
blue prints and project specifications.
8.
Assign costs and manpower to the schedule/project.
9.
Pricing change orders and preparing estimates for partially designed
projects by finishing the design and preparing a complete project
estimate.
10.
Conferring with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design
professionals
to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures,
complaints, and construction problems.
11. Prepare, track and report on project summary
cost.
12.
Control cost, maintain design schedule and regulate quality assurance
for all projects.
13.
Managing project safety.
14.
Managing and leading project meetings.
15. Managing, training, and supervising the project
team.
16.
Managing all job close-out procedures.
17. Act as primary point of contact with client and
design team to
communicate project needs, schedule and activities.
18. Travel to project sites and meeting
locations.
19.
Develop/maintain a good relationship with the Owner Team.

11. Accepting a project leadership role and driving
team to goal as
required without direct authority.
Must have a high
school education or equivalent, plus a minimum of two (2) years experience in electrical construction industry. Must have
ability to organize and administer multiple projects with good attention to detail, with an understanding of blueprints and
electrical drawings, along with knowledge of National Electrical Codes. Must have strong computer capabilities;
including word processor, spreadsheet and database software. Candidate will be required to read and interpret bidding documents
in order to produce accurate estimates that will secure timely profitable contracts. Candidate will also
need to review the bids with management to establish work scope and methods used on projects.
Electrical contractor work experience is a MUST - you must understand take-offs, estimates, work scope,
contracts, managing budgets, reports, projections, specifications, codes, schedules, subcontracts, materials and construction
activities, and be able to read construction drawing and specifications.
Ability
to work independently as well as in a small team environment
